🌿 Friends of the Monastery
The monastery is a place of refuge, peace, and practice. It blossoms because of the kindness, generosity, and dedication of our friends near and far. Each offering of time, energy, and support is a precious act of merit (puñña), sustaining the Sangha and sharing the Dhamma with the world.
“If beings knew, as I know, the result of giving and sharing, they would not eat without having given, nor would the stain of miserliness overcome their minds.”
— Itivuttaka 26
Who Are the Friends?
Friends of the monastery are those who walk alongside the Sangha with kindness in many forms:
- Benefactors & Donors — offering financial and material support.
- Volunteers — giving time, skills, and joyful effort.
- Patrons — providing steady, long-term support.
- Community Members — attending, practicing, and keeping the Dhamma alive.
Whether through offerings of food and robes, helping hands in daily tasks, financial contributions, or simply your presence at meditation and Dhamma talks — you are all truly “Friends of the Monastery.”
